Hi there! Welcome to our world of color and art in porcelain and glass.

Tell us if you’re looking for a keepsake, a special piece, or if you’d like to join our painting courses.

Amor Artis

Welcome to our art space

Each piece we create on porcelain and glass reflects passion, dedication, and a love for detail. Here, we transform materials into unique works that blend color, creativity, and elegance.

Why Amor Artis?

At Amor Artis, we believe that art has the power to transform emotions into beauty.

We were born in the heart of the Bahamas, surrounded by sea, color, and joy, with the mission of sharing art made with hands and soul. Each piece tells a story, each brushstroke carries intention, and each creation is filled with love.

Come, be inspired, and be part of this community of art and heart.

Ingrid Mechelle Friedman

Opened her dream store March 2025, with over 30 years of experience.

Her career in the porcelain field started in São Paulo, Brazil in 1995, when she first went to her first porcelain painting class.

"When the class ended, I felt so inspired, I

couldn't wait to come back for my next class." Ever since then I never stopped going back.

Everywhere I lived I always looked for a porcelain studio, because its a place i know for sure I'll have a space for myself, where I can go to relax and let go, let my creativity run wild, and create something beautiful.

Here in the Bahamas I didn't find a porcelain studio, so i took it upon myself to create one and thats how Amor Artis came to be.

My Daughter, my favorite teacher and I, came together and Amor Artis was born.

Tatiana Paz

Founded her first studio, Tatiana Porcelanas, on July 14, 1989, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, after an exhibition at the Casa da Cultura sparked great interest in the ancient porcelain techniques she had learned in Curitiba, Brazil. Although she graduated in Industrial Design from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, she decided to dedicate herself fully to this captivating art form.

Over 43 years, she refined her skills through courses with international masters, exploring the beauty and versatility of porcelain — a timeless and durable material used in both art and industry. In addition to artistic painting, Tatiana applied industrial techniques for brand identification and created custom pieces ranging from tile murals to unique works tailored to each client.

After 20 years teaching more than 400 students, she returned to Brazil and expanded her practice through the Fire Arts, working with ceramics, modeling, enameling, and glass, where heat transforms materials into both artistic and functional pieces.

Her mission is to inspire people to explore art beyond their daily routines — to draw, paint, model, and transform. She is currently based in Nassau, Bahamas, invited by her friend Ingrid, continuing her creative journey with the same passion and enthusiasm as when she began.
